ZOE’S STYLE: A mixture between Japanese/Ulzzang contemporary wear and vintage fashion from between the mid 60’s to the early 80’s. Haha I realize how specific that sounds but its a lot broader than what you may think! 

INSPIRATION: Film and animation play a big part in my style. I mean it’s really easy to see an outfit or a particular style in a film and be attracted to it. But it’s so much more than just the outfits for me. The overall feel, the composition of shots… it’s really inspiring for me… and then I love japanese animation a lot, but it makes me feel very different. It’s so much more direct and solely about the styles portrayed.

STYLE GROWTH: I use to think you could only be one certain way, and that dressing a different way would make your style seem less genuine. (which is definitely not true!) Especially being a model now, I embrace change and variety in fashion. 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WINTERTIME ACTIVITY? I actually like playing some good classic japanese RPG’s in bed or something like that. I’m not very good with cold weather, I try to avoid going outside if I can! thankfully it doesn’t get too cold in LA. 

STAPLE ITEMS FOR WINTER: I guess it’s different in every region that you would be in… For me it would be a good pair of ankle boots, like the kind you can tuck under skinny jeans, with no heels. Of course a large collection of cute sweaters too! I have a lot of vintage coats that I never wear though… its never cold enough haha.
